Laura began her public relations career with Tourism Vancouver, notably introducing Dine Out Vancouver – Canada’s largest annual dining festival – to the city. The 17-day foodie fest has grown to include more than 200 restaurants and is a draw for tens of thousands of locals and visitors. As a partner at Immedia PR, Laura orchestrated key media events across Canada and the US and represented clients at major media marketplace events. She is a long-standing associate member of the Society of American Travel Writers.

Laura extends a personal touch to all her relationships with clients and media influencers. Her passion for cooking in and dining out translates into an informed and intuitive understanding of hospitality and the elements of standout experiences. A polished professional, she is a Diamond Graduate of the Gemological Institute of America. Known for offering thoughtful commentary on a wide range of topics, Laura has been invited to speak on expert panels, from public relations and tourism to diamond branding.

A passion for travel has taken her to India, Egypt, New Zealand, Chile, Italy and Malta, among other exciting destinations – as long as there’s a direct flight, her bags are packed. When at home – minutes from Vancouver’s Granville Island – Laura channels her energy into spinning or yoga and enjoys simply soaking up the vibe in her vibrant neighbourhood and hometown.

She’s an active member of the Travel Media Association of Canada (TMAC) and has been the BC chapter treasurer since 2009.

Morgan has a background in the dramatic arts – don’t be surprised if she breaks into song on sharing good news – and a passion for culture and dining out in her hometown Vancouver. She enjoys hiking BC’s rugged terrain and traversing the trails of Stanley Park too; the daughter of an RCMP officer, she spent her childhood in diverse rural parts of British Columbia – falling in love with the province’s natural wonders.
